60 days Socio economic and sustainable livelihood development programme for Rural artisans for export products in water Hyacinth, Bamboo and cane craft.
Zoon Nagar, Bhatiapar, Sivasagar which has been dedicated to the cause of Socio-
cconomic Development and sustainable livelihood of rural men and women of nearest
villagers by helping them to generate additional income for their families by creating
handicrafts products of exquisite beauty and exporting the same for a decade and a
half was selected for a 60 days programme.

Our First Handloom Projects

Since its establishment it was working with water hyacinth and bamboo cane craft, NEDF had a great turn in the year 2019-20, when they were offered their first handloom project by ONGC CSR. The project named as "INTEGRATED DESIGN AND TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT HANDLOOM PROJECT".
Our artisans, who were already excelling in the realm of natural fiber craft, experienced a transformative opportunity through this project. The delicate artistry and meticulous craftsmanship now displayed in their work highlight the success of the project in providing our artisans with an avenue to diversify their abilities and contribute to the rich tapestry of traditional crafts.
